The Power of a Faithful Friend

Sunday, 6th August, 2017 Speaker : Pst. Manoj Arunkumar Summarization : Shruti Vanjare Acts 9:10-32 Saul studied in Gamalia and learned under great teachers. He was a Jew, highly qualified and rich. He was ordained by the High Priests to kill all the Christians; whoever takes the name of Jesus in Damascus. That's where Jesus appeared to Saul and he became blind. God told Ananias to visit Saul. He was afraid because he had heard that Saul was a murderer who would kill anyone even speaking the name of Jesus. Ananias was frightened by Saul because of all the things he had heard about him but he still listened to the word of God and went ahead to become friends with Saul. In the same way, Barnabas was afraid of the apostles, but heeding the word of God, he became an advocate and a friend to Paul. Ananias and Barnabas changed the whole world of Saul. When you're a faithful friend to someone you change their whole world. CHARACTERISTICS OF A FAITHFUL FRIEND. (1) A fait

Bible study : The book of Revelation (Church at Ephesus)

CHURCH AT EPHESUS Speaker : Pst. Manoj Arunkumar Summarization : Sis. Nancy Manoj Revelation 2 (NKJV) “To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:  2  “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;  3  and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary.  4  Nevertheless I have  this  against you, that you have left your first love.  5  Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.  6  But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.  7  “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Lesson from Ephesus!

Sunday, 30th July, 2017 Speaker : Pst. Manoj Arunkumar Summarization : Shruti Vanjare There were seven churches in the time of Paul and John. They began with the spirit but soon, Jesus walked out of that church. This is a lesson for our own church. Every church speaks something wonderful to ours.  CHURCH AT EPHESUS (Revelation  2) Our spiritual lives are weighed through these churches.  • It was a wonderfully constructed church. Paul shed tears to build this church and it was the strongest church during those times. They used to work, labour, have patience and couldn't tolerate any evil. They used to discern liars out of the church. But inspite of being so powerful, Jesus walked out of it.  They did a lot of hard work, but Jesus had complaints against them.   "You have fallen." (1) Inspite of your hardworks, if your life isn't devoted to Jesus; you have fallen. Sometimes, service for Christ can lead to losing our dependency on God. When w

Strengthen your Spirit

Sunday, 30th July, 2017 Speaker : Pst. Manoj Arunkumar Summarization : Shruti Vanjare You carry the breath of life and that's why God speaks to your spirit. God is a talking, healing, delivering and miracle working God and he has no death in him. Jesus is going to resurrect everything that is dead in your life. We serve a living God. God's delay is not denial, but His will is present in every delay. Ecclesiastics 8:9-13 • When you're hurt by somebody, you keep it inside and don't let go. Since you want to tend to that hurt, you keep hurting somebody else. We don't need to rule our hurts on somebody else. • Forgiveness will get you out of your hurt because Forgiveness leads to healing. •  The judgement for the wicked isn't executed speedily, but those who fear the Lord, all will go well with him.  You may face difficulties, but if you're someone who fears God, all will go well with you. ( Vs 11 - 12) • Say, "I fear God, it will be w
