Gaps of Boredom!

Life in Jesus Ministries.  Gaps of Boredom Our Mind is the most dynamic traveller and critical thinker created by God to Worship Him and to explore the depths of His majesty which can't be perceived by the physical being. Whenever we are engaged in a certain activity, the mind redirects the thought process towards the activity but when we aren't doing anything, the mind doesn't stop thinking. It needs something to think upon, it needs something to pedal the cycle which is going down the hill and our mind picks up the activity which our flesh desires to do and it starts to think in that direction. Try some introspection and think of that one mobile application or game which you open so frequently that there's no reason to open that app but still your boredom has programmed your mind to open that app or game that the reflex works without even considering the reason. It might be Facebook feed, Whatsapp, Insta feed or any addictive game but you're so habituated t

Answer to your enemy.

Then David said to the Philistine , "You come to me with a sword , with a spear , and with javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.  -1 Samuel 17:45 What are things that are troubling you and snatching your peace away? What are the things in your life that are occupying a major portion of your mind and you can't stop thinking about them? What will be your reply to those things which are creating a havoc in your emotional world as well as in your practical world? Like David we need to say : You come to me with depression, stress, anxieties and worries But I come to you in the name of Jesus. The prince of peace will slay each and every thing in your mind that is destroying your peace. Confessing your weaknesses to God gives Him an access to use those weakness to lead you to His strength. You can't defeat what you can't confront. You need to confront those things in prayer where God has the upp

All things.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. -Romans 8:28 There are times in our life when we think that we've messed up God's purpose in our life by our wrong decisions and we try to do things in our own way, without knowing that God can use our mess as a ingredient which is required to serve His purpose if we turn towards him and embrace his mercy for our life. No matter what life throws at us, Good things or bad things, problems or sickness, tough situations or heartbreak; if we keep on going back to God, looking for his mercy and love, then God uses all those things to take us to His greater purpose that He has for us. If we look at the story of Joseph, we see that he's been constantly tossed between awful situations and greivous circumstances and years are passing without a sign of fulfillment of God's purpose for him. Somehow the enemy's tactics intended for Joseph are comin

On my knees.

Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. -Psalms 2:8 One of the greatest privilege that God has given us is that we can come before him pouring out our soul, knowing that God is concerned about us. When we kneel before the King of kings and humble ourselves in his mighty presence and with reverence and honor we present ourselves, we're connected with Him; Not only virtually but actually. Mostly we pray about our hearts desires and needs, Oftentimes we give everything into his hands and pray about His will to be done, *and then there are only some of them who prays what God wants them to pray, they pray what God wants, what God seeks, what God longs for and for the desires in His heart.* If all of your prayers were answered by your Heavenly Father, would it change the world or just yours? A beggar can give a penny, A wage worker may give some considerable amount of his wages, A CEO of an multinational compan

Race for an Imperishable crown.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. -1 Corinthians 9:24 The Amount of efforts we put into something is motivated by the reward we're gonna get by the completion of the work. People almost give one third of their day to the company which they work to fulfill their daily needs where they're rewarded with the remuneration. In seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, our efforts are always rewarded. Faith enables us to Run the race which is set before us even when we cannot perceive the great things God has kept in the duration of our journey as it is written in Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We all are adopted in a living hope and we ought to run the race which is set before us with a burning zeal and passion which is fueled by Faith. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to

Do it God's way.

For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him. -Isaiah 64:4. By your patience possess your souls.(Luke 21:19) There are times when there's a constant chaos between what we want and what Lord wants for us as it is written:  "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. Even though we know that the Promise of God states that His will is better than our will and his choices are better than ours, still we have a hard time letting go of things which we've desired for so long, even if we'll convince our minds to get rid of the old desires, our heart becomes a slave to what we want. Be deeply convinced that there's a purpose of God which goes far beyond than what we desire or what we want

Be Faithful in the Sheep pen

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. -Colossians 3:23. God's purpose will find you in the place of your Current assignment. Let's look at the life of David, it was David's faithfulness in the sheep pens that prepared him to shepherd the nation of Israel. God chose David and took him from the sheep pens(Psalms 78:70). Now the Sheep pen was a place of David's current assignment, He had a promise to become a king but he never despised his current assignment. But he remained Faithful where God has planted him and whatever he did, he did it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, singing Psalms to God, delighting himself in the Lord and encouraging himself daily in the Lord. Your current state might not look like the thing which God has promised and it might just look like the opposite of the Good life which you've desired from the Lord but our Good good father works in mysterious ways. Who can ever imagine that the Son of a Carpenter

The Winds of Adversity.

The Winds of Adversity But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. -1 Peter 5:10 There are times in our lives when we are fed up of our current state and lift up those things which trouble us in prayer and ask God to change the things without understanding that God is using those things to shape our character and to prepare us for the things that we are praying for. The winds of adversity makes us realize the need for God in our lives. After we've suffered a while; God will perfect our holiness in the fear of God, Establish us upon his Word and in the World to Glorify his name, strengthen us to fight the good fight of faith by giving us the strength to withstand the winds of adversity, and settle our lives to be pleasing to the Lord. Learn to dance in the winds of the adversity and let the Spirit do his perfect work in you. For the sufferings of the present

Sitting at the feet of Jesus.

Sunday, 14th January, 2018. Speaker : Ps. Sumant Kumar. Summarization : Shruti Vanjare. Sitting at the feet of Jesus Which is the best blessing that Jesus has given to us? A fellowship with him. If he isn't in our life, nothing values. He's given us the grace to fellowship with him. We have access into his presence. Anytime you want, Jesus is present for you. Jesus is always free and available for you, but you need to have time for Him. His touch makes everything possible, therefore fix your eyes on Jesus. We must always crave and delight to have a fellowship with Jesus. We certainly love to spend time with family and friends, but more than all, we must be habituated and addicted to have a fellowship with God. When you get addicted to the presence of God, nothing of the world pleases or delights you. We read the same bible everyday, but the holy spirit reveals every word in a different dimension. When God's people rejoice, the devil is confused, because it's as

Thirst for God!

Sunday, February 4th, 2018 Speaker : Pst. Sunil Sharma. Summarization : Shruti Vanjare. Psalms 63:1-4 “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.” God sought you, God loved you. Your soul should thirst for God every moment. When you go to God, he stretches his arms and embraces you. There's a lot of love, in the word Mercy. Even when curses surround you all over, you're protected because of his mercy. God's house is made only for his glory. His loving kindness is better than life. 2 Samuel 9:1-13 Jonathan knew that Sauls attacks on David was wrong, and he tells David to have mercy on his household when he finishes all his enemies. We may not

Words reveal Character.

Sunday, February 11th, 2018 Speaker : Pst. Manoj Aunukumar. Summarization : Shruti Vanjare. WORDS REVEAL CHARACTER. The fruit changes the tree. If the fruit doesn't bear enough sweetness, we uproot it to plant a new tree bearing sweet fruits. When Jesus speaks he brings life and adds value to it. Matthew 12:33-37  “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Thought and Word Pattern. 1) Roots determine the fruit. Your thoughts and words are

From Glory to Bethlehem.

Sunday, 24th December, 2017 Speaker : Pst Manoj Arunkumar. Summarization : Shruti Vanjare. “Christmas is all about the good news of Jesus Christ.” Luke 2:1 In the entire Bible, this is the third time that someone is travelling to Bethlehem. The first time being when David went to Bethlehem, the presence of God came there for the first time when David played the harp for Saul. The second time was the travel of Ruth and Naomi to Bethlehem. (Ruth 1:22) 1) Bethlehem is the place of Separation.  Genesis 35:19- “So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem). And Jacob set a pillar on her grave, which is the pillar of Rachel’s grave to this day.” Rachel as separated from Jacob. Jacob used to love Rachel a lot, and thus had to be separated from her in Bethlehem where he had an encounter with God. When you come to Bethlehem, God will separate you from what you love more than God. 2) Bethlehem is the place of selection. Read from Isaiah 16:1 onwa

The Coins.

Sunday, 19th November, 2017 Speaker : Nitin Salve. Summarization : Shruti Vanjare Luke 15:8-10- “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” In those days, women used to decorate coins on their head as accessories which signified their rich background (identity) and their beauty. 1) Identity The woman in the parable lost her coin, and hence she lost her identity. The first coin is Identity. We have received Christ's identity. Galatians 2:20- “It's no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me.” If you've lost your coin of identity in Christ, now is your time to search. Ask God to tell you where you stand in

Favour of God (Part 2)

Sunday, December 10th, 2017  Speaker : Pst. Manoj Arunkumar. Summarization : Shruti Vanjare. People's favor puts you down, but God's favour always lifts you up. You'll never become a slave when God shows you His favour. Never take any favours from humans because, Jeremiah 17:5- “Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.” The blind man became a beggar because he couldn't do anything on his own and was dependent on begging on men's favour. All these days, he trusted and tried to get favour from men but when he heard about Jesus, he decided that it is better get favoured by Jesus. When God shows you favour, you will be restored of everything that you have lost. When his sight was restored, he saw the face of Jesus who showed him favour, for the first time. When God shows you favour, your eyes are on Jesus. Luke 1:26-28- “Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God

Favour of God.

Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 Speaker : Pst. Manoj Arunkumar. Summarization : Shruti Vanjare. Probers 27:18- “Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit; So he who waits on his master will be honored.” This promise of God for you, begins today. Be faithful with all your talents and gifts, make sure that it's matured and nurtured so God can bless you even more in the days to come. People will hurt you and let you down, but God's favour is always upon you. You are the righteous one who's going to eat the fruit of your righteousness. You're diligent if you're righteous, and you will protect and watch over the fig tree. God will use your success, prosperity and blessings for His glory. You're alive and breathing because of His glory. Discouragement comes from the devil, and discouragement for the discourager comes from the Lord Almighty. Am I qualified for God's favor? You're in the house of God because you're Qualified. Proverbs 27:23-24

The Supernatural Miracles of Jesus Christ.

Sunday, 8th October, 2017.  Speaker: Pst. Manoj Arunkumar Summarization: Shruti Vanjare “I will turn your emptiness into fullness of Joy.” John 2:1-12 On the third day, there was a wedding in Cana (Tuesday) When we go back to Genesis 1:9, the third day was the only place where God said “It is Good” twice. The marriage of Cana was conducted on the third day because it was a ‘good day.’ Cana of Galilee was the hometown of Jesus Christ and He and his family we're invited to the wedding. Jesus came to the wedding after defeating the devil in the wilderness as the Son of God. If you know the Word, you can defeat the devil. The marriage of Cana signifies turning your failures into blessing. There's a shortage of wine amidst the excitement of the marriage and there's a huge ceremony going on. According to the Jewish customs, wine symbolizes joy and happiness. The mother of Jesus comes to him and acknowledges the lack of wine. She knew Jesus  would  do something
