Race for an Imperishable crown.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. -1 Corinthians 9:24

The Amount of efforts we put into something is motivated by the reward we're gonna get by the completion of the work. People almost give one third of their day to the company which they work to fulfill their daily needs where they're rewarded with the remuneration. In seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, our efforts are always rewarded. Faith enables us to Run the race which is set before us even when we cannot perceive the great things God has kept in the duration of our journey as it is written in Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We all are adopted in a living hope and we ought to run the race which is set before us with a burning zeal and passion which is fueled by Faith. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. (1 Corinthians 9:25). Now we already have the evidence for the reward which we cannot see as faith is the evidence of things not seen. Everything that we need on this earth is already been given to us and it's placed on the race track on which we need to complete this spiritual race. If we're not striving for the crown and if we're not running the race, then how we're gonna receive the things which God has kept for us? It's high time for us to understand what Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." It means that in the pursuit of seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness, we're gonna get everything that we need to sustain in this life while running the race.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for providing everything that we need and placing them in the course of the race which is set before us that we may enjoy every blessing in your right time.
In the name of Jesus'
Amen.
