Sitting at the feet of Jesus

Which is the best blessing that Jesus has given to us?
A fellowship with him. If he isn't in our life, nothing values. He's given us the grace to fellowship with him. We have access into his presence. Anytime you want, Jesus is present for you. Jesus is always free and available for you, but you need to have time for Him. His touch makes everything possible, therefore fix your eyes on Jesus. We must always crave and delight to have a fellowship with Jesus. We certainly love to spend time with family and friends, but more than all, we must be habituated and addicted to have a fellowship with God. When you get addicted to the presence of God, nothing of the world pleases or delights you. We read the same bible everyday, but the holy spirit reveals every word in a different dimension. When God's people rejoice, the devil is confused, because it's astounding how you're smiling through everything he has put through you. Sometimes, you don't need prayer to cast out the demons but a smile or laugh is enough.

“When God does something instantly it's a miracle but when God takes you through something it's Glory.”

God allowed Lazarus and his family to go through a trial. Keep in mind that when Jesus delays something in your life, he's deeply in love with you and wants to show you his Glory. Just because something is delayed doesn't mean God doesn't have his eyes on you. You're just on your way to see greater glory. Abraham had to wait 25 years! But now, he has children all over the world. God isn't going to allow you to be content with a miracle, but he's going to take you through his glory.

John 11:21- 25- Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”

v.32- “Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”

Mary makes the same statement, as her sister. Two sisters lost their only brother, asking them the same question in the same agony.

v.33- “Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.”

When Martha asked the same question, he wasn't affected but when Mary asked him, Jesus was deeply moved in the spirit.

v.35- “Jesus wept.”

When Martha cried, Jesus didn't. But when Mary cried, Jesus wept. Two sisters, but received a different response from Jesus. There are many churches, but when some churches pray, Jesus is moved. Mary had an influence on the heart of Jesus. How could Mary have such an impact or relationship with Jesus? All the three were loved by Jesus, and he didn't even respond to Mary. But he saw her weeping and he wept too.

Jesus had once come to the house of Lazarus, and started preaching. The bible doesn't speak where Lazarus was when Jesus was preaching, Martha was working in the kitchen. She's taking pride on cooking for Jesus because she considers that more important. She was frustrated with cooking alone and finds Mary sitting at the feet of Jesus. Then Jesus told her that what Mary has chosen is the best and no one can get what she's receiving. There's only one person wise enough to sit at the feet of Jesus. If Jesus comes to your house and is preaching, you better sit at his feet because the choice is always ours. Jesus didn't say I haven't chosen her, but said that she has chosen the best. When she sits at the feet of Christ, she entered into his heart. That's why when Mary cried, Jesus cried. Jesus may forget the one who invited him, and one who looks for him. But he can never forget somebody sitting at his feet. Many churches are Martha churches and work for Jesus, but they never sit with him. God delights in you sitting with him, hearing his voice and fellowshipping with him. He desires that from us. For any believer who's busy with the ministry more than God, He is in danger. Mary chose the best and reached the heart of Jesus. When you sit at his feet and weep, he will weep with you. When you laugh, he'll laugh with you. The best person in the universe is Jesus and if you're successful in influencing him, you're the most successful person. When you're filled with the Holyspirit he takes you to the place called the feet of chirst and makes you sit there. That's where you receive what no one can take away from you.

Jesus was in the house of Simon, a rich and famous man. They're eating and someone comes and falls on the feet of Jesus. She started crying, making his feet wet. She then took her hair and started wiping and kissing his feet even without saying anything. Jesus knew everybody's thoughts and rebuked Simon. He turned to the lady and forgave her sins, with a promise of her being preached whenever the gospel is preached. Simon was in the same room, but far. He could surely give Jesus a big offering but who's side did Jesus take? The one on his feet. The lady spoke nothing, but Jesus spoke for her. Don't worry about people taking about you. Sit and weep at his feet, hold on to his feet and Jesus will speak for you. He'll shut the mouths of many Simons for you. He favoured the ones who were at his feet. Jesus will shut every mouth that speaks against you, with a blessing. Even after 2018 years we're still preaching about the lady and fulfilling Jesus' words. Just sit at the feet of Christ. The Lord will rebuke the devourer for you!

Naomi lost her husband's and her sons. She cried and sent away a daughter in law. Some peoole cry and then leave and that's why don't be moved with anyone's hugs and tears and their kisses. The other daughter in law didn't cry and proclaimed that Naomi's God is her God and her people are hers. Naomi and Ruth come to Bethlehem, she doesn't remain silent. She bought things home and found favour in the sight of Boaz, who gave her a job. Naomi asked Ruth to wash and anoint herself and sit at the feet of Boaz. After baptism, and anointing of the holy spirit, sit at his feet. In the morning when he moves his legs, it touches someone and he sees Ruth sitting there. She says “redeem me Lord” later he spreads his shawl over her, signifiying owning her. The same field where she was a servant, the next day she became the owner. When you sit at the feet of Christ you receive the mantle of the Messaih. She received the mantle at the feet of Boaz. Holy Spirit is your Naomi. As she spoke to Ruth, the holy spirit is telling you that you have washed your self and anointed yourself and now is the time to sit at the feet of Jesus. Whatever that belonged to Boaz now belonges to Ruth too! God will take you to the highest places but you only have to promise sitting at the feet of Christ. Without Jesus we're nothing. There are a lot of times where we aren't able to receive and that's because we're not sitting at the feet of Jesus.  You receive the mantle by sitting at the feet of Christ.

Nobody could kill Goliath. He played with Israel for 40 days. The army of God was afraid of one Philistine. David was at the feet of God worshipping him and the mantle of God came upon him. He wasn't afraid but his blood boiled looking at the Philistine. The entire country was afraid but he told them to send him so he could cut off his head. That's the recation of a man who sits at the feet of Christ. Anointing has the wrath and anger of God in it. When anointing is released, his wrath enters sickness, poverty, and other things and devours them (Moses serpent) when we have the right people in the leadership,
Saul in kingship, people were fearful.
When David came into action, people started dancing. When the real anointing starts to manifest mourning will turn into dancing. That's what happens when God shows up. Sit at the feet of Christ and stay there until you receive your mantle. The moment you receive your mantle, your breakthrough begins. You'll rise up to be a man of God for the nation's. Don't miss the feet of Christ. Have a hunger and thirst. Your breakthrough is at the feet of Christ.
