Don't look Back!

Daily Word 30th September 2017 Don't look Back! But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back , is   fit for the kingdom of God." -Luke 9:62 Lot's wife is an clear example of what happens when we turn back to the things that God is trying to protect us from. Jesus has already dealt with your past and your regrets have been redeemed by his Blood. Past is dead and gone. The one who doesn't look back is fit for the kingdom of God. Don't bother yourself with Dead things. Jesus said to him , "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God." -Luke 9:60 Shake the past off, Brace yourself up and Ignite your Hearts on fire for the Kingdom of God. Jesus was so passionate about the  Kingdom of God that the blood dripping from his crown of thorns couldn't stop him from praying for the people. Don't look back just keep on Progressing towards the Perfection of Christ. Your

Answers to Prayers

Daily Word 29 Sept. 2017 Shruti Vanjare  Answers to Prayers “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” - John 16:24 How often do we ask, wish and pray for certain things and then complain and blame God when it's not granted to us? There are few habits that we need to inculcate from the Word of God which gives an assurance that the right prayers (James 4:3) will surely be heard and answered by Him. Jesus tells us, in Luke 11:9, "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”  We need to come before God as His children and ask, because he's a loving Father willing to give us the desires of our heart. In the next verse Jesus tells us to seek and then knock too! What exactly does he want us to seek? Himself! When we seek God, He’s always willing to show us what He is capable of, leaving us awestruck and amazed. (Matthew 6:33) Jes

The Poison of Unforgiveness

THE POISON OF UNFORGIVENESS – By Sis Nancy Manoj Most of us like to getting promoted and there is nothing wrong with that. But sometimes we fall in tests in certain areas that keeps us from getting promoted. UNFORGIVENESS is a poison that the enemy uses against God’s people, and is one of the deadliest poisons a person can take spiritually. If causes everything from mental depression, to health problems such as cancer and arthritis, bone pain, spondylitis, chest pain, nervous break down, asthma etc. Request: If someone has hurt you, don’t spend the next 10 years of your life hurting yourself by hanging on to the offense. Most likely, that other person isn’t even thinking about you, while you dwell on the incident for years. That only hurts one person – one. You see, when you forgive someone, you are helping yourself. To help you understand the importance of forgiveness, here are five ways to detect unforgiveness in your heart. Once exposed, you’ll be one step closer

Protection from Sudden and Invisible enemy.

Daily Word 28 Sept 2017 – Sis Nancy Manoj Protection from Sudden and Invisible enemy Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence (NIV) -Psalms 91:3 There are two parts in the above verse which are easily overlooked, the depth of the Scriptures always release the Blessings of the almighty. 1) He shall deliver you from the fowler’s snare means God shall deliver you from all dangers whatsoever. A fowler is a professional bird catcher who sets a snare for catching birds. May be you are experiencing a similar situation in your life and you feel like the enemy is plotting something against you. But God says no subtle plot shall succeed against one who has the eyes of God watching for his defense. We are foolish and weak as poor little birds, and are very apt to be lured to our destruction by cunning foes, but if we dwell near to God, he will see to it that even the most skilful deceiver shall not entrap us. Hallelujah! 2) He will also

Blessedness of being intimate with the Lord

Daily Word 27th Sept 2017 Sis. Nancy Manoj Blessedness of being Intimate with the Lord He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” -Psalms 91 :1-2 Verse 1 is the key verse because it expresses about the blessedness of a man who is intimate with God and explains the details regarding the whole Psalms. Here the word “ "Shelter" (or secret place)” is the place of complete dependency and true intimacy with the Lord but the word “dwell” speaks much more. It is more than a place of visit. It is a place of continual residence (of trusting God continually). Every believer’s highest priority in life is being intimate with God, trusting Him and pleasing Him. Enoch was such a man (Gen 5:24, Heb 11:5). David desired this intimacy with all his heart (Ps 27:4) John 15:7 says "If you remain in Me and let My words remain in you, you may

Seperated and Soaked

Daily Walk through the Psalms  26 September 2017 Read Psalms 1:3-6  (NIV) That person is like a tree  planted by streams  of water,  which yields its fruit  in season a nd whose leaf  does not wither— w hatever they do prosper  Not so the wicked!  They are like chaff  that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand  in the judgment,  nor sinners in the assembly  of the righteous. For the  Lord  watches over  the way of the righteous,  but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. Separated and Soaked in His Presence Yesterday’s devotion I mentioned that God blessed us so that we might be a blessing to others. But He has given us certain conditions for receiving these blessings. Let us see what they are. First , we must be separated from the world (vs 1).  Now here the world is anything that separates us from God or causes us to disobey Him. Separation is not isolation but contact without contamination.  Sin is a gradual process. Notice in

Meditation on Psalms 1

*Today's Meditation* - Mrs Nancy Manoj 25 Sept 2016 Read Psalms 1:1-6 *Delight yourself in the Lord* This Psalm begins with the word Blessed. And He blesses us so that we might be a blessing to others. What you delight in is what will direct your life, so be careful with what you enjoy. A person who delights in the Law of the Lord (vs 2) meditates on it during the day. Meditation is to the soul what digestion is to the body. The blessed person is a like a tree (vs 3). A tree has roots. The most important part of your life is your "root" system. Don't be like the ungodly who are like chaff (v.4).  Chaff doesn't have roots. It is blown away by every wind that comes along. Your root system is important because it determines your nourishment. It also determines your stability and strength when the storm comes and the wind starts to blow. People can't see your root system but God can. Praying and meditating on God's word will cause your roots t

How does God works?

Sunday, September 17th, 2017. Speaker : Pst. Manoj Arunkumar Summarization : Shruti Vanjare “Worry less about your death and more about your resurrection.” God works in two ways - God works through His word. God gives bread to the eater and seed to the sower. GOD WORKS THROUGH HIS WORD Everything that He has ever said comes to pass. Joel 2:1-11 : “Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand. Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations. A fire devours before them, And

Know the Word!

Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 Speaker : Pst. Manoj Arunkumar Summarization : Shruti Vanjare For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. Where is Jesus? HE IS INSIDE YOU. “When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision—the cutting away of your sinful nature. For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.” (11,12) Do you want to be a perfect man? You need to change your way of living which brings blessings of God in your life James 3:1-3 “Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly. Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.” If you don't stumble in the Word, you're

Knowing the will of God (Part 1)

Sunday, August 27th, 2017. Speaker : Pst. Manoj Arunkumar Summarization : Shruti Vanjare WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO KNOW THE WILL OF GOD? WE DON'T KNOW OUR OWN WAYS. Jeremiah 10:23  “O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own step.” There are so many things that you don't have control and authority over; and the will of God isn't in man. That's why you need to seek the will of God. It's important because without that you cannot take decisions without being discouraged and confused. You should understand that  your way isn't in yourself but in the hands of God, and that's why Jesus said,”I am the way, the truth and the life.” WE WILL BE EQUIPPED TO KNOW THE WILL OF GOD. Ephisains 4:11-1 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till
