God works in two ways -
God works through His word.
God gives bread to the eater and seed to the sower.
GOD WORKS THROUGH HIS WORD
Everything that He has ever said comes to pass.
Joel 2:1-11 : “Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand. Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations. A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them. Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like swift steeds, so they run. With a noise like chariots Over mountaintops they leap, Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, Like a strong people set in battle array. Before them the people writhe in pain; All faces are drained of color. They run like mighty men, They climb the wall like men of war; Every one marches in formation, And they do not break ranks. They do not push one another; Every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, They are not cut down. They run to and fro in the city, They run on the wall; They climb into the houses, They enter at the windows like a thief. The earth quakes before them, The heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness. The Lord gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?”
The sin of the earth has touched God’s throne and that's why He is pouring out His wrath. God isn't instilling fear in you, but He's trying to warn you. If there's no warning, you'll surely be destroyed. Whatever is written in the word of God is coming to existence. Each day that you're living, it's a time of preparation for His coming.
Turn to the Lord with fasting and praying. You need to have a prayer alter in the family. You need to correct yourself according to the word of God. You need to understand that God’s plan is according to His word.
Ephesians 5:22-25 : “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,”
You need to love and submit. Just because your husband loves you, don't take him for granted and just because your wife submits, don't rule over her.
God said, “Wives submit to your husband.” The Lord is the head of your husband. Between husband and wife, God is the head. Husband, love your wife as the Lord loved the church and in this kind of a marriage, there's God.
Ephesians 6:1-5 : “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth. And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.”
Children, obey your parents in the Lord for it is right.
Your family should also be based on the word of God. That's when there will be understanding and unity.
(2) GOD GIVES FOOD TO THE EATER AND SEED TO THE SOWER.
The bread that God provided to Moses and his people, didn't come from the earth or by toiling on the farm. The bread came from heaven. During our difficulties, our Bread will come from heaven. We will not lack food and water because the Heavenly father will provide. Those who trust in the Lord and fear Him, never hunger and thirst.
You need to have a heart for God. Whatever He has given you, you need to sow it in His Kingdom.
