Ten Messages in the Book of Revelation

1. God is Awesome, Majestic, as well as Sovereign in our troubles.
2. Jesus' Sacrifice as the lamb ultimately brings complete deliverance for those who trust Him.
3. God's Judgement on the world is often to serve notice that God will avenge his People.
4. Regardless of how things appear in the short Run, Sin doesn't go unpunished and God will judge.
5. God can accomplish his purpose through a small and persecuted remnant.
6. Worship leads us from Grief over our suffering to God's eternal purpose seen from a heavenly perspective.
7. Proclaiming Christ invites persecution (you cannot live a life without persecution) walk with God will be tested.
8. Christ is worth Dying for.
9. The hope which God has prepared for us exceeds our present sufferings.
10. God's plan and Church ultimately includes representatives of all people.

WHY THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS CALLED ONE BOOK OF MANY BOOKS?

1.There are 92 quotations from the old testament in the book of Matthew.
2. There are 102 quotations from the old testament in the book of Hebrews.
3. Whereas the book of Revelation Contains 348 quotations from the old testament including 24 books of the old testament and Revelation has only 404 verses.

COMPARISON BETWEEN GENESIS AND REVELATION.
1. Genesis : Earthly Paradise.
Revelation : Heavenly Paradise.

2. Genesis : Entrance of Sin and Death.
Revelation : End of Sin and Death.

3. Genesis : Beginning of Curses.
Revelation : No more Curses.

4. Genesis : Entrance of Serpent(Satan).
Revelation : Eternally Judged.

5. Genesis : Image of God in man was Mud.
Revelation : God's Image is Restored.

6. Genesis : River in Eden's Garden.
Revelation : River in the City of God.

7.Genesis : Tree of life Bounded.
Revelation : Tree of life Restored.

8. Genesis : Alpha First Beginning.
Revelation : Omega Last Ending.

9. Genesis : Beginning of Time.
Revelation : Time shall be no more.

WHERE IS PATMOS?

Island of Patmos where John saw Heaven
1. Patmos is a small Island 16 kilometers in length and 9 kilometers in breadth.
2. During the Roman expire they Exiled the prisoners to the Isle of Patmos.
3. Emperor Demition - in 95 A.D he exiled John because John trusted in Jesus Christ.
4. Patmos is a lonely place deserted, barren place, full of stones.

In Revelation 1:10 , John was in the Spirit on the Lord's day.

He was 84 years old when he was in Patmos and he saw open Heaven.
