5 Doors
Rev 3:20 : Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
1. Door of sin – Gen 4:7 (If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”), Ps 51 talks about sin, Rom 3:23 (23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God), & 6:23(For the wages of sin isdeath) – Lord has given us free will and freedom of choice, Lord does not force. Hence beware, do not go thru the door of sin again and again. Resist the temptation as per James chp 4. As per 2 Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing. As per 1 Peter 5: 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because[c] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.– be careful and watchful as devil wants to devour.
- Door of security – Exodus 12:7 (And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.), Job 1:5 (So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed[a] God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly). - continually pass and plead the blood of JESUS. No one can else can give you such a security, the security of blood of JESUS is all powerful & nothing can overcome it.
1 Peter 1:16 – Be holy as I’m holy. Through my lifestyle I can show to people around that my JESUS is alive and holy.
3. Door of Salvation – John 10:9 ( I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.), 2 cor 5:17,18 (Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things areof God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation), Mathew 24 :13(13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.) we need to endure till the end & Rev 2:10 ( Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.) - be faithful till death to receive the crown of eternal life. Don’t play with your salvation.
4. Door of Sign- Mathew 24 :7 (For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences,[b] and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.), Mathew 24 :33 ( So you also, when you see all these things, know that it[d] is near—at the doors!) Mathew 24 :35 (Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.)All the signs written in bible is coming to pass. (Daniel 12:4(But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”) End times knowledge will increase. 1 Tim 4:1 ( Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons) people will be money lovers). Rev 13:16( He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads), says mark will be on right hand for which lord had already said in Mathew to cut off our right hand if it sins. Pray : Lord prepare me.
5. Door of shelter – Don’t miss out on this (Mathew 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.) be ready with your oil, don’t let it go empty. Never neglect prayer. Negligence is a sin
